NutFoot8 is a compact, nut-mounted machine foot designed for aluminum profile systems with 10-series T-slots that use M8 threaded fastening elements.
Unlike end-mounted leveling feet, NutFoot8 is installed into the lower T-slot of a horizontally oriented profile, where it functions as a stable support point. This makes it especially suitable for modular frames, machines, and structures where the profile ends are not available or where flexible positioning of support points is required.

The foot is fixed using an M8 screw in combination with a T-slot nut (slot nut) inserted into the profile slot. The position of the foot can be adjusted along the length of the slot, allowing the support point to be moved freely during assembly or later modifications. NutFoot8 is not intended for height leveling; its adjustment capability is strictly longitudinal within the slot.

The internal geometry of the foot allows tightening with a standard 13 mm socket, so installation does not require special tube wrenches or custom tools. Both hex-head and internal hex (Allen) M8 screws can be used, depending on the application and assembly preference.

NutFoot8 is designed as a reusable component. It can be removed, repositioned, or transferred to another machine or frame without damage, making it well suited for prototypes, frequently reconfigured equipment, or modular systems that evolve over time.

❓ Is M10LevelingFoot compatible with my aluminum profile system? 

M10LevelingFoot is designed for 10-series T-slot aluminum profiles that use M8 fastening elements. Compatibility depends on the slot geometry and thread size rather than a specific manufacturer. 

❓ Can NutFoot8 be used for height leveling?

No. NutFoot8 is not a height-adjustable leveling foot. It allows positioning along the length of the T-slot, not vertical height adjustment. 

❓ How is NutFoot8 mounted?

NutFoot8 is mounted into the lower T-slot of a horizontally oriented profile using a T-slot nut (slot nut) combined with an M8 screw. The foot can be positioned freely along the length of the slot during assembly or later modifications. 

❓ Do I need special tools to install it?

No. Installation requires only standard tools. The internal geometry allows tightening with a standard 13 mm socket. No special tube wrench or custom tool is needed. 

❓ Can I reuse NutFoot8 after disassembly?

Yes. NutFoot8 is designed to be fully reusable. It can be removed, repositioned, or installed on a different machine or frame without damage. 

❓ Can it be installed on an already assembled frame?

Yes, provided that the T-slot nut can be inserted into the slot from an accessible end or from an opening in the profile. In this case, NutFoot8 can be installed or repositioned without disassembling the entire frame. 

❓ Does the foot protrude beyond the profile footprint?

No. The foot has a Ø33 mm base diameter, which is smaller than the 40×40 mm profile cross-section. This allows:

• placing the table directly against a wall,

• positioning multiple tables closely side by side,

• avoiding any protruding edges that could interfere with placement.

This is especially useful in compact workshops.

❓ What material is the leveling foot made of?

Polypropylene (PP). It is impact-resistant, non-brittle, and does not crack under normal use.

❓ Can it be used outdoors?

It is suitable for covered, dry environments.  It is not intended for long-term outdoor exposure (rain, UV).

❓ Can the leveling foot be removed later?

Yes. The foot can be unscrewed from the T-slot nut, and the aluminum profile remains undamaged. The component can be reused or repositioned as needed. 

❓ What is included in the package?

8 pieces of Nutfoot8 . The tool is not included.

❓ Why is it not available in multiple sizes?

This is a targeted DIY solution, not a compromise universal part.  The 4040 profile is the most commonly used size for tables and stands, so the product was optimized for this application.  Compatibility with 80-series profiles is provided as an additional benefit.

❓ Where is the product manufactured?

In the European Union, in Hungary, produced in small batches.

❓ What if the product doesn’t work for me?

Our goal is to manufacture genuinely useful products that are meant to be used, not discarded. If for any reason this solution does not meet your expectations, please contact us. We do not want to sell products that end up unused.

❓ Do you provide CAD models of the product?
